Hormone Health

Hormonal imbalances can contribute to symptoms such as menstrual cycle irregularity, painful and heavy periods and pre-menstrual syndrome (PMS). It is a common misconception that these symptoms are just a reality that needs to be endured.

While hormones are complex, taking a functional medicine approach allows us to more clearly understand where the imbalances originate. I will evaluate your sex hormones (estrogen, progesterone, testosterone), your thyroid hormones, and your stress hormone (cortisol).

I will work with you to gain a better understanding of your hormonal imbalances. When necessary, I use comprehensive testing to understand exactly what your hormones are doing. My goal is to provide you with insight into your hormones, and to devise a plan to manage your symptoms and keep you feeling balanced.
