My Journey

Portrait photo of Dr. Nyrose

I was first drawn to naturopathic medicine after trying to navigate my own health concerns. Naturopathic medicine provided a framework for addressing my symptoms that considered all aspects of health – physical, emotional and mental. I remember having the time to talk about my health and leaving the appointment with a comprehensive plan.

This left a lasting impression. I knew I wanted to provide transformational care. I wanted to work in an integrative system, one that honoured the importance of physical and mental health.

Today, my practice is grounded in patient-centered care, evidence-informed medicine, and leveraging nutrition, pharmaceuticals, lifestyle and botanical medicine to guide my patients on their health journey. I am passionate about hormone health, advocating for my perimenopause/menopause patients, and talking about food.

Outside of the clinic you’ll find me exploring the outdoors with my family, or  in the kitchen testing out new recipes. I am the co-founder of Fare & Flourish, a website that explores evidence-based nutrition, anti-diet culture and cultivating joy in the kitchen.
