Menopause

Menopause is a time of transition in a woman’s life, and is often accompanied by changes in her health and an emergence of bothersome symptoms. Up to 80% of women going through menopause will experience hot flashes, also known as vasomotor symptoms. Other common menopausal symptoms include:

  • Mood swings
  • Sleep disturbances
  • Fatigue
  • Loss of libido
  • Vaginal Dryness
  • Weight gain
  • Anxiety

My approach is to address the underlying hormone imbalance, through the use of nutrition, herbs, supplements or bio-identical hormones. In addition to symptom management, I also will focus on preventative health, proper screening, and lifestyle modification to enhance long-term wellbeing.

There are numerous options for addressing menopausal symptoms. However, it requires a personalized approach, which takes into account your unique goals, risk factors and preferences.
